Walters Rips San Antonio for 5 Hits
Chris Walters put on a hitting clinic today as the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks dumped the San Antonio BC 14-6 at San Antonio Field.

The Ft. Polk South catcher made San Antonio defenders earn their pay, lashing San Antonio pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Walters said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Chris Walters singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
