Sixshooters Reel Off Another Win
|
Westwood Sixshooters starter Loren Berdine was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the San Antonio BC, 7-0. The winning pitcher was Berdine, now 5-2. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. The Sixshooters improved to a lofty 33-13.
One of the key players for the Sixshooters was designated hitter Richard Cutshall, who drilled a 2-run double in the top of the third inning. For the game, Cutshall went 2-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI.
