Flamingos Get One-Run Win at Phoenix
|
Glyn Bolasky led Las Vegas to a win over Phoenix. The final score was 6-5. Bolasky collected 2 RBI, while going 4 for 5 at the plate. The right fielder also scored 2 times. Juan Cardenas got the win, improving to 6-3. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Las Vegas is now 43-29, while Phoenix is 30-42.
Bolasky contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Las Vegas in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Bolasky took a slider from Wes Hamm and stroked the double to left-center. His 11th double of the season allowed the Flamingos to leap in front, 3-2.
