Les Bleus Hang 6-3 Loss on Lakers
|
Quebec City catcher Jack Bonner had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Echo Park Lakers, 6-3. Quebec City is now 44-42.
Bonner had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Les Bleus went on to win.
In comments to the Quebec City Observer, Bonner admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
