Williams Gets Win in New Orleans Rout
New Orleans starter Shawn Williams put a stranglehold on the Montana offense. The right-hander had complete command of his cutter in leading the Voodoo to a 11-1 win. The 6th-place Voodoo now have a 4-game winning streak.

Williams tossed 112 pitches over 7 innings to clinch the win for the Voodoo. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Williams told reporters after the game.
