Athletic Club KC beat Scranton on the strength of starter Ismael Calderón's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 6-0 win. The Reserves bumped their record to 51-50 with this latest triumph.
Calderón, now 7-6, scattered 1 hit over 7 innings for the Reserves.
"Ismael was pounding the zone," said Athletic Club KC manager Henry Russell.
