Supernovas Solve Reserves, 6-2
|
The Scranton Supernovas topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves by the score of 6-2, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Alonso Solís. Solís went 2-3 with a double and a walk for the Supernovas. Jeff Schneider earned the save, his 15th. Scranton is now 39-61, Athletic Club KC 50-50.
Early in the game, designated hitter Felipe Bruno had a 3-run home run for Scranton. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Supernovas on top, 4-2.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Bruno said.
