|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Scranton Supernovas and the Pawnee ParksNRec, Apollo Cepeda was the difference-maker. The Scranton right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. The Supernovas now own a record of 38-61.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Scranton catcher José Rodríguez, facing Gavin Blackburn, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Supernovas the 3-2 win.
"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Cepeda told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
