Royse City Stadium was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Royse City Targaryens and Gryfindor Braves.

The Gryfindor Braves beat the Royse City Targaryens, 8-2, at Royse City Stadium. The Braves got a fine performance from center fielder César Ramos, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4-4 with 4 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Eduardo Molina picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 10-3.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the third, with the game tied, Austin Hathaway was at the plate when Gryfindor scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Braves to go in front, 2-1.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Hathaway, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
