Tortolita catcher Vincent Klein made his presence felt in the 12-4 Drummers triumph over the Scranton Supernovas. Klein went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Tortolita, at 38-35, occupies 5th place in the Silver AAA.

Tortolita used the clutch hitting of Lu-fang Koo to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to give the Drummers the lead, 2-1. For the game, Koo had 1 single and 1 double in 6 at-bats.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Tortolita manager Arturo Chávez.
