Supernovas Clip Flyers, 3-2
|
Scranton Supernovas starter Gilberto Pontojá was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Pennsauken Flyers, 3-2. Scranton now owns a record of 21-38.
The Supernovas got a lift from left fielder Nobuhiko Nakayama who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Mike Foltynewicz. It was his 4th walk of the season and put Scranton in front, 1-0.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Nakayama.
