Supernovas Topple Braves with Late Rally
Scranton Supernovas starter Gilberto Pontojá turned in an exceptional performance against the Gryfindor Braves at Nuclear Stadium, resulting in a Scranton win, 5-2. Scranton reliever Jeff Schneider picked up the win, upping his record to 2-5. León Vallejo absorbed the loss. Scranton is now 18-28.

Martín Álvarez was the walk-off hero for Scranton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Supernovas left fielder hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Álvarez said after the game.
