Starting pitcher Vincent O'Higgin pitched well enough to help the Pennsauken Flyers beat the Tremont Doubledays by the score of 7-3. O'Higgin got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 2 hits and walked 6 over 7 innings. O'Higgin allowed 1 earned run. Pennsauken occupies 9th place in the Silver AAA at 17-29.
Marc Beck had a big run-scoring single for the Flyers in the top of the sixth inning. With Pennsauken leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from Lorenzo Sánchez and stroked the single to right. It was his 7th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flyers ahead, 3-1.
