The Tremont Doubledays and Pennsauken Flyers played an exciting game at Pennsauken Park.
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Otis Brewer, the Tremont Doubledays defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 4-2. Brewer was 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Doubledays. Seung-hyeon So got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Flyers to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The save went to Jack Carr, his 8th this season.
Tremont took control in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Alan Elder hit a 3-run home run to make it 3-0, Doubledays.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Tremont manager Lendon Tipton.
Tremont is now 17-10.
