Victory Over Grey Wolves Takes Northern Virginia to 34-18
|
Northern Virginia rode a decent outing from starter Ramón Molina to victory over the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Atlantica. The final score was 6-3. Molina, the winner, moves to 10-2. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 1 walk. Earning his 9th save for Northern Virginia was Mark Valle.
Galtero Suárez helped out the Northern Virginia cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Molina.
