Targaryens Get Road Win, 5-3
|
Royse City Targaryens starter Currito Melena was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-3. The Flyers, now 4-9, continue their poor start.
The Targaryens beat the Flyers in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Bruce Ingilby produced in the top of the third. Batting against Pennsauken pitcher Bernie Sanders, Ingilby gave his team a 3-0 lead when he hit a 3-run home run.
"It feels good to get this one," Melena told the Royse City Daily News.
