Apollo Cepeda pitched a gem to lead Scranton to a 1-0 victory over the Tortolita Drummers. Jeff Schneider closed the game out for Scranton, earning his 1st save. The Supernovas are off to a tough start, getting just their 2nd win in 11 games.

Cepeda was in the zone all game. He frustrated Tortolita hitters while giving the Supernovas 7.1 innings of quality work. Cepeda threw 80 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 9 punchouts.
