Targaryens Come Back Late to Top Lake Monsters
The Royse City Targaryens went home winners at Royse City Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Emershan Naidoo. Naidoo silenced the Vermont Lake Monsters, enabling Royse City to grab the 4-1 win. The win leaves Royse City with a record of 1-1.

Royse City won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Gerry Fleck on the mound for Vermont, shortstop Manuel Ramos hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Targaryens fans to their feet.

"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Naidoo. "Successful pitchers do it."
