Morishita Leads Fur Traders to Win
|
Keizo Morishita made an impact in the 6-4 Tacoma win over Salem. Morishita went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Hengkie Iriawan got credit for the win, improving to 7-9. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits in 8 innings. Tacoma now owns a record of 40-58.
Morishita had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Fur Traders went on to win.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Salem manager José Vázquez. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
