The Bethesda Atoms topped the Athletic Club KC Academy by the score of 16-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Diego Romero. Romero went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Atoms on the day. The Atoms saw their record improve to 49-45.
