Lancaster rode a fine outing from starter Mark Clift to victory over the Reno Silver Sox at Farmers Field. The final score was 2-0. The winning pitcher was Clift, now 6-7. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Mannus Dijkman got the save, his 21st in 24 chances.
Min-tae Yi, who is rated as the 65th best prospect by BNN, aided the Lancaster cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman was 2-4 with a double.
Yi told a Lancaster Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
