The Lancaster Farmers did just enough to sneak past the Lannister United Lionhearts, 8-7, at Farmers Field. Lancaster third baseman Jesús Herrera earned player of the game honors. Lancaster is now 39-38, Lannister United 36-41.

The Farmers were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when designated hitter Hsi-men King turned a 1-0 cutter from Fernando Elías into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Lancaster a thrilling 8-7 win.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Coy Knight said.
