The Tacoma Fur Traders went down to defeat to Mark Clift and his Lancaster teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Farmers. Mannus Dijkman picked up the save for Lancaster, his 17th of the year. Lancaster is now 38-37, while Tacoma is 32-43.
Lancaster grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, Jesús Herrera delivered a bases-clearing triple, to make it 3-0 in favor of the Farmers.
In postgame comments to the Lancaster Daily News, Clift said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
