Tafalla Rips Brooklyn for 5 Hits
Rainbow Mermaids shortstop Eustacio Tafalla had his way with Brooklyn pitching today at Ebbetts Field and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Dodgers ruined his great day by toppling the Rainbow Mermaids, 14-11.

"I had a great day, but you've got to give Brooklyn credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."

"Oh, we noticed what Tafalla did today," Dodgers skipper Erock Genova said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."

Eustacio Tafalla hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.

Tafalla is hitting .266 so far this season with 25 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 51 hits including 5 home runs, 9 walks and .297 OBP.
