Big Game from Barksdale Not Enough, Dodgers Lose
Brooklyn first baseman Avon Barksdale had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Northern Virginia at Ebbetts Field. Barksdale was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Mimosa Joseph, credited with the win, is now 4-1. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 8 innings.
