Wenzu belts 2 home runs as Silver Sox Squeeze Past Long Island
In a tight contest at Tennille Grounds, the Reno Silver Sox edged the Long Island Seawolves by the score of 4-3. Reno third baseman Tumas Wenzu, who blasted 2 home runs, was named the player of the game. Ryunosuke Kurota got the win, improving to 3-2. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The Silver Sox now have a mark of 17-15.

Early in the game, Wenzu had a 2-run home run for Reno. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Silver Sox on top, 2-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Wenzu told the Reno Citizen.
