The Reno Silver Sox picked up a win at Tennille Grounds, knocking off the Lannister United Lionhearts, 5-2. Starting pitcher Bob Christison, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Reno is now 13-14, while Lannister United is 12-15.

The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Silver Sox were trailing 2-1. Tumas Wenzu delivered a two-out 3-run home run for Reno, catapulting his team into the lead.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Wenzu.
