Fur Traders Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Atoms
|
The Tacoma Fur Traders dealt the Bethesda Atoms a 6-3 loss at Atoms Field. Sinclair Bothof was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Mark Sanders picked up the save for Tacoma, his 5th of the year. Tacoma is now 10-16.
Josh Mawdesley, who is tied for 5th in the SAA in extra base hits with 11, aided the Tacoma cause with a 2-run single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs.
"We did a lot of things right," said Mawdesley.
