Lavalley Steers Long Island Past Silver Sox, 4-3
The Reno Silver Sox and Long Island Seawolves provided some drama at Ballpark of Remsen.

Long Island pitcher Daniel Lavalley did his part in helping his team beat the Reno Silver Sox, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Seawolves, now 9-3, have been on a roll in the early going.

Lavalley delivered a quality start for Long Island. The 6' 3" right-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits over 9 innings of work.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Lavalley said.
