Red-Hot Romero Scorches Seawolves
Silver Sox first baseman Armando Romero had his way with Long Island pitching today at Ballpark of Remsen and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Seawolves ruined his great day by toppling the Silver Sox, 6-5.

"I had a great day, but you've got to give Long Island credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."

"Oh, we noticed what Romero did today," Seawolves skipper Matt Helsley said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."

Armando Romero hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
