2032 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Houston BC.

Scotty Vallee did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Houston BC from losing, 9-5, to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Houston Park. Vallee went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Sioux Falls reliever Fred Pitts picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jamie Scott took the loss.

Darrell Terwey tagged a home run off Jamie Scott in the top of the eighth. His 2-run blast put the Red Pandas on top, 7-5. In all, Terwey had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Terwey, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The 6th-place Red Pandas have won 4 consecutive games.
