Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Red Pandas
|
The Red Pandas had to overcome a fine effort from Port Royal pitcher Masaharu Sakata to grab a narrow 4-2 win at The Bamboo Forest. Sakata went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Red Pandas improve their record to 47-52 with the win over Port Royal.
Roberto Fierro took Alfredo Hernández deep in the bottom of the 13th. His 2-run home run put the Red Pandas on top, 4-2. In all, Fierro had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
Fierro called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
