Timber Hawks Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Alloway
|
Augusta played host to Alloway at the friendly confines of Timber Hawks Ballpark.
The Augusta Timber Hawks topped the Alloway Halberds, 7-4, in M3L Triple A action at Timber Hawks Ballpark. The player of the game was Augusta pitcher Emil Olsson. Omara Moctar notched his 14th save in 15 chances.
The Timber Hawks got a big at-bat from designated hitter José Pérez. For the game, Pérez was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 8th double of the season gave Augusta a 3-1 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Olsson.
Augusta goes to 47-52, Alloway to 46-53.
