The Alloway Halberds met little resistance from the Hialeah Dodos, beating them 18-1 at Ballpark of Alloway. Carlos De Jesús led the way. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times and driving in 2 for Alloway. John Ball earned the win for Alloway. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 5 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 3-7. The Halberds, at 44-48, have now won 5 straight.
