Great Lakers Shut Out Red Pandas
|
The Pure Michigan Great Lakers picked up a win at Lansing Park, knocking off the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-0. Starting pitcher Arnie Pittman, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Pure Michigan, at 50-35, sits in 4th place in the Menard's AAA.
Yin-reng Hsueh, who is rated as the 38th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Pure Michigan cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hsueh said.
