Belugas Topple Halberds with Late Rally

Alloway pitcher Antonio Godfrey gave the Belugas all they could handle, but in the end, Brinkley left Belugas Ballpark with a 3-2 win. Godfrey allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings. Yue-rong Chen got credit for the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. The Belugas have an impressive 53-31 record.
Júlio González was the walk-off hero for Brinkley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Belugas pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," González said.
