Alloway pitcher Nicholas Beyer gave the Coyotes all they could handle, but in the end, Hamilton left Ballpark of Alloway with a 3-2 win. Beyer allowed 1 earned run on 7 hits over 7.1 innings. Hamilton reliever Francisco García picked up the win to move to 1-1. Seb Alport suffered the loss. The Coyotes now have a mark of 22-58.
Martín Marrero had the most critical at-bat for Hamilton. With two in the top of the tenth inning, Marrero hit a 2-1 fastball from Domingo Álvarez for a run-scoring single. It put Hamilton in front, 3-2.
"There's no quit in this team," said Coyotes manager David Pacheco.
