Halberds Knock Off Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest
The Alloway Halberds topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 6-2, in M3L Triple A action at The Bamboo Forest. The player of the game was Alloway pitcher and Erkelenz, Germany native Nicholas Beyer. Martin Besnier picked up the save, his 1st. With the win, the Halberds improved to 36-39.

With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the top of the third inning, shortstop Juan Salinas delivered big for the Halberds. Alloway was leading 3-1 when he belted a 3-run home run.

"I liked his command," said Alloway manager Yoshifumi Kamuta. "Nicholas was throwing strikes."
