Spirited fans at Belugas Ballpark greeted the Brinkley Belugas for their clash with the Port Royal Disaster.

Brinkley shortstop Luis Yander La O was sensational. He went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 4 walks. He drove in 3 runs, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Port Royal beat the Belugas, 8-7. Yander La O was named the player of the game despite the loss. Port Royal now owns a record of 24-30.

Nelson Abbey's at-bat in the top of the sixth inning was a big one for Port Royal. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 1st and 2nd and Port Royal leading 3-2, the shortstop reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.

"I felt good up there," said Abbey. "I saw the ball well."
