Humpbacks Raise Rally Flag, Beat Sioux Falls, 4-1
|
Getting an impressive start from Júlio Valenzuela, Alaskan beat Sioux Falls by the score of 4-1. The Humpbacks, at 27-12, lead by one game in their division.
Alaskan took a 3-1 lead on Tim Stinson's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Sioux Falls pitcher Valentín Montenegro in the bottom of the eighth.
"We'll savor this win," Stinson told the Alaskan Chronicle, "then get ready for the next game."
