Men Beat Red Pandas in 10
|
The exploits of right fielder Daniel McCoy, the three overall pick in the 2030 draft, helped the Florida Men defeat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 2-1. McCoy went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Florida reliever Tyler Lund was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Francisco López took the loss for Sioux Falls. The Red Pandas fall to 4-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2032 season.
Todd Sentell's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a knuckle curve from Júlio Maes for a run-scoring double. It put Florida in front, 2-1.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Sentell said.
