Piranhas Prevail, 3-1, Over Boston
|
Panama City Piranhas starter Pedro Aguilar turned in a top-notch performance against the Boston Patriots at The Tank. The result was a win for the Piranhas, 3-1. Folkert van Huizen earned the save for Panama City, his 2nd of the year. The Patriots, now 11-14, have lost 4 in a row.
Tak-hing Huang, who leads the PL in doubles with 10, aided the Panama City cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Piranhas manager Matthew Rubo, "I like our chances."
