Middies Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
Grafton Middies starter Dylan Silva was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Echo Park Lakers, 6-3. Earning his 1st save for Grafton was Kenete Daku. Grafton has a record of 2-3.
The Middies got a big at-bat from third baseman Stefano Gaddi. For the game, Gaddi went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Grafton a 4-0 lead.
"I really like what we did out there today," Gaddi said after the game.
