Mixon Wins PAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 28th, 2031 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Glen Allen Mixon of the Durham Rapiers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Mixon rocked opposing pitching for a .533 average (8-for-15), 2 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season, Mixon is hitting at a .279 clip with 10 home runs, 38 RBIs and has scored 29 runs. He has 65 hits, 7 walks and a .306 on-base percentage. |
