Son Rips Long Island for 5 Hits
Monday, June 16th, 2031
Dam Son put on a hitting clinic today as the Atlantic City Sonics dumped the Long Island Seawolves 11-2 at Ballpark of Remsen.
The Atlantic City first baseman made Long Island defenders earn their pay, lashing Long Island pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Son said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Dam Son singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Cooper Myers in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Armando Ortíz in the 9th.
Son is hitting .333 this year with 6 home runs and 29 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .412, 17 walks and scored 17 times.
