Reliever Fallows Chosen August's Best in SAA Monday, September 1st, 2031 Irving's Matthew Fallows hated to see August end. It was one of the single greatest months the reliever has posted, and the 22-year-old reliever did so well that he garnered enough votes for the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy. Fallows held the opposition to a .167 batting average in 12 relief appearances. He worked 15 innings, collected 8 saves, sat down 11 on strikes and posted a 2-0 record and a 0.60 ERA. This season Fallows has notched 12 saves with 22 strikeouts and 10 walks in 26.2 innings while registering a 1.69 ERA and a 2-3 won-lost record. |
