Larate Earns 3AA Player of the Week Monday, August 11th, 2031 21-year-old Pedro Larate made a few Ft. Polk South headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .562 average. Larate collected no home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 1 run. Larate is swinging at a .526 pace on the year with no home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has played in 17 games. |
