Sargent Wins 3AA Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 21st, 2031 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Pat Sargent of the Bethesda Atoms reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Sargent rocked opposing pitching for a .562 average (9-for-16), 4 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Sargent is swinging the bat at a .289 pace. He has hit 9 home runs and scored 24 times, while driving in 33. His on-base percentage is .390 and he has played in 55 games. |
