Becerra and Brown Brawl, League Suspends Them Monday, June 30th, 2031 After an intense confrontation, both the Deuces Júlio Becerra and the Nationals Earl Brown were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Virginia Beach-Ottawa game. Both players will miss 4 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Júlio Becerra commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Becerra is hitting .253 this year with 1 home run and 14 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .333, 12 walks and scored 13 times. |
