3AA Selects Schultz August's Best Pitcher Monday, September 1st, 2031 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Sam Schultz put together a very solid month to take home the M3L Double A's top pitching honor in August. The 24-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 13 relief appearances he raked in 2 saves and 35 strikeouts in 39.2 innings as he put together his 5-1 record and 2.27 ERA. This season Schultz has logged 9 saves. He has thrown 143.2 innings, dished out 137 strikeouts and walked 53 while putting up a 11-4 mark and a 2.82 ERA. |
